Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of GetFluent. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
GetFluent provides digital language-learning materials, study tools, progress tracking, and related services. Features may change as the product develops. GetFluent does not promise that using the service will produce a particular level of fluency or any specific educational result.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your sign-in methods, and activity performed through your account. Notify [email protected] promptly if you believe the account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You may use GetFluent only for lawful personal learning. You may not disrupt or probe the service, bypass access or security controls, misuse another person’s account, scrape or redistribute substantial portions of the service, upload malicious material, or use GetFluent to violate another person’s rights.
4. Content and intellectual property
GetFluent and its licensors retain their rights in the service, curriculum, software, visual design, audio, images, and other materials. Subject to these terms, GetFluent gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You retain rights in content you submit and give GetFluent permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
5. Paid plans
If GetFluent offers paid plans, the price, billing interval, included features, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases made through an app store are also governed by that store’s billing and cancellation rules. Except where law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable. You may cancel future renewal using the method shown with your subscription.
6. Third-party services
GetFluent may rely on or link to third-party services, including identity providers, app stores, payment processors, and infrastructure vendors. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. GetFluent is not responsible for third-party services it does not control.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GetFluent and delete your account. GetFluent may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
8. Disclaimers and liability
GetFluent is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
